How does our storytelling and story makers program stands out?
Curated and Diversified Library
Our storytelling program features a robust library developed by the experts at LWL Education. With a collection of 600+ picture books from award-winning creators, this LWL-designed curriculum spans everything from timeless classics to modern best-sellers. Every book is carefully selected and divided into tailored reading levels, ensuring your child reads stories they love while receiving the high-quality educational foundation LWL is known for.
Theme-Based Learning
Each storytelling class focuses on a theme. From Dinosaurs & Dragons to Food & Nutrition to Plants & Mother Nature, we rotate through 28 themes throughout the year to help students expand their imagination and increase their knowledge of the world around them.
Class Discussions and Homework Review
Each time we read a picture book, we discuss the story throughout, find ways to connect to each story, and reflect on what we learned in the end. Each class we provide a recording of a story and comprehension worksheet for homework review.
Storybook Makers (In-Person Only)
Each semester, in-person students spend six weeks as “Storybook Makers.” Guided by our teachers, students move step-by-step from planning to illustrating their very own book. This hands-on process brings stories to life while reinforcing essential reading comprehension, sequencing, and early writing skills.
Assessments and Progress Tracking
We track growth through mid-term and final assessments, with teachers providing verbal updates during pickup. Our consultants are available 7 days a week to ensure classes align with your learning goals.
